About Irina Lensky

Irina Lensky was born in Russia and began composing from a young age. She studied piano and choral singing at a local music academy. Her first compositions were performed by the school choir and local theatre groups.

Since moving permanently to the UK in 1993, Irina began working as a composer for a theatre production group 'The Riverside Players' in the Wirral, writing music for several plays and Christmas musicals.

In early 2000s Irina was working as a backing vocalist, and recording her own material in professional studios in London, collaborating with professional musicians and producers.

In 2006 Irina has graduated from University of Bristol with an MA in Film and TV Production, specialising in Producing, but chose to return to music In 2023, receiving an MSc in Sound and Music Production from University of Gloucestershire.

In October 2022 Irina worked as a sound engineer, recording a classical concert in Tewksbury Abbey for Cheltenham Bach Choir and Göttinger Stadtkantorei Choir performing ‘Requiem’ by W.A. Mozart with ‘Regency Sinfonia’ orchestra.

Irina is currently working from her recording studio as a professional production music composer, her work is particularly noted for her exciting melodies and use of vocals and complex harmonies.
